
At the left is a photo of my Grandfather Glenn Geddes, taken prior to him being shipped to France to serve as a quartermaster in the Army during World War I. After the war he came back to Nebraska and re-joined the family's furniture and funeral home business. The funeral home still carries the family name and
has a web site. I grew up within a block of my grandfather and inherited his compassion and understanding.
I've pulled out these two items (see below) because my daughter Isabel is starting to study World War I in school and I wanted to give her some orginal items so she would have some context.
